Two shift schedule in a day !?!

Technically our shift schedule is 10 in the morning to 7 in the evening. Yes you heard it right - and what we did for the whole duration was to take our final exam and mock calls, since our first week of training is over! But it doesn't end there. Because at 12 midnight today (same day), we needed to go back to work since we will be introduced with the so called mentor -- so technically we only have 4 hours to rest from our last shift, and, had to attend the night shift again! Whoa!!! Well it's a good thing my mentor's gonna be Rocia. Sure she'll be lenient enough with our situation knowing we didn't have enough sleep, since we had some kind of a "double shift", if I may call it so. So I would have to go offline now, and sleep. ciao!

So-so day.

Yesterday's plan to stay at Nice's place to accomplish our clearance, with the rest of our Harte Hanks friends have been moved. So I just decided to accompany Doreen to Glorietta. we met up with her cousin Joan. Then we had our dinner at Shakey's. It's my off today so I am just goin' to stay home all day. I'll take this opportunity to unwind and relax. Oh, it's CHEETAH GIRLS' premiere telecast at Disney channel today! I'm going to watch it -- now I have something to do. Hehe.

First day of training at Sykes Asia

First day of training at Sykes Asia... at last i'm back! Nice and I was sad though since we were expecting that four of us will be scheduled on the same class. Felt sad since we're expecting Rick and Mona would be with us. Just to give you a brief background -- Rick, Mona, Nice and I filed our resignation from Sykes MCI and moved to Harte Hanks-- then after 4 agonizing months we all decided to go back to Sykes... so we filed our resignation letter; take note: "immediately"! So going back, Nice and I were surprised, when we saw Mona entering the room. Found out she was assigned to the same account, and will be attending the same training class as well. We also found out that some our Ambergris friends already knew about this, however they just want to surprise us. Great job guyz! Certified artista na kayo ngayon! So there, chit chat and all.

Just got home from a wacky early summer outing!

Just got home from a wacky early summer outing! I was about to attend a Christening for the daughter of my mom's friend. However, I just arrived from an exciting and exhausting outing and I don't have enough energy and drive to do something extra today but rest.. tsk..tsk.. my bad! Should learn to set my priorities since I'm one of the Godparents. I was expected to be in Shangrila - west by 1 PM. Thank God for mom - she went to the rescue. Asked mom to send my gift and apology and to my inaanak (or should I say the mom of my inaanak) .. sorry :(

We arrived early morning yesterday at "Nawawalang paraiso Resort and Hotel" at Brgy. Camaysa, Tayabas, Quezon.

We divided the group into two and had some mini-olympic type competition. Games, games, and more games! Rick and I served as the event hosts.

The day we've all been waiting for!

We marked this day as the start of our fun and bonding! Early summer outing daw! Way early... hehe. We tagged this event as "X-BOX 360 Bunch of Rotten Tomatoes - Manila Delegates - Luau Party '07" whew! The rest met up at Market2x then they picked us up at Nice's place. Then off we go to Lucena!!!

The night before the trip...

Everyone's excited for our Lucena outing! We went to "Market! Market!" for the scheduled grocery. We then stayed at Nice's place in Fort Bonifacio overnight -- Rick, Jho, jaime, and Virna.

I decided to open my own bank account at BPI evangelista. I also paid Mike's credit card. then I bought some art stuff for our props.

Jho dropped by at my place, and paid her contribution for our outing. Went out to check my atm and decided to drop by Glorietta

Brainstorming!

Met up with Mona, Rick, Jaime, Julz, Trish, and Nice at Market2x regarding our outing at Lucena. We hopped from Red Ribbon, Market2x Food Choices, and Gerry's Grill.

Fantastic movie: Eragon!

Went to Glorietta with Mike and RJ. We ate our breakfast at World Chicken, then we watched "Eragon". I bumped with my former officemate at Sykes-MCI account - Jane Briones. It's nice to see her again, it's been quite a while. We even sat beside each other and had some chat while at the movie.

Had my hair highlights - copper and red - at F Salon Greenbelt 3. I love it my new look!!!

Movie Verdict: I am amazed with the effects and CGI especially with the Dragons. I love this movie and I look forward to it's sequel soon.

I filed my resignaton at Ambergris Solutions Inc. today. I am thankful for the opportunity they have given me, it's just my time to move on.

My friends and I had our breakfast at Jollibee -- with Trish, Jho, Che, Rick, Julz, Mel, and Denise. I went to Globe afterwards to pay my cellphone bill.

Welcome back to Sykes!

Yesterday's exam was a success. I received a call from Sykes this morning for my job offer. Then I had my contract signing by 2pm.

Nice to be back!

Going back to Sykes...

I had my exam at Sykes at One San Miguel in Ortigas. Then, I met up with Rick at Glorietta-4 Fix Salon. Then had our snack at Red Ribbon. Afterwards, we decided to watch "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" at it's last full show!

Movie Verdict: It failed to scare me from what I expected. It turned out more of a comedy movie I guess.

The truth behind...

Woke up by 6pm, got few messages from a friend regarding her breakup with my close friend. Dropped by at her pad and had some talk about it. Mike texted me by 8:30pm asking me to accompany him to SM Megamall for an errand for mom. Fortunately, since I was already hungry at that time - I thought we could eat afterwards. My friend offered to drive us to Megamall which I really appreciated, though on the road - it was full of tension 'coz she was quite drunk. Mike and I had our dinner at Teriyaki Boy - mega strip. I enjoyed their Chicken Don.

What a small world!

After shift, I went to IBM, then Sykes Asia. Had dinner with Mona, Ric, and Nice at Max's-Shangri-la Edsa. It's really a small world -- at the middle of dinner, Virna, Zen, and company walked in at Max's. Had some chit chat and all.

Christmas season at home ends... for now

Have nothing to do at home, so I decided to clean the house and pack our Christmas decors...

Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo

After out HSBC appointment, my friends decided to hang-out at Jho's place --- mona, nice, Julz, Ric, Jamie, and Madz --- for lunch. Afterwhich, we decided to watch "Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo", while Mona, Nice, and Madz decided to call it a day.

Movie Verdict: It's good only for television, although, I must admit most scenes made me laugh.

Zsa-Zsa Zaturnah!!! --- gulp!

Mike and I have been hearing good reviews about the movie Zsa-Zsa Zaturnah. so we decided to check it out at Greenbelt-3. Had lunch first at Cheesecake Etc., then we bought my fave Cadburry's Time-out, Doritos, and Chimara's ice tea.

Yes, the movie was great; such an eye opener. Very original story, and the direction was excellent; Rustom's acting was really impresive. It was so hilarious as well.
