Gua Ai Di

Mike and I decided to see "Mano Po 5: Gua Ai Di" at Power Plant Mall. Craved for Jamaican patties (our all time fave - beef pinatubo) and Buy-The-Bucket tortilla chips... yummy!

Movie Verdict: So so movie... Predictable story of a typical "my family doesn't like my suitor" story.

Hanging out at my place!

Last night I dropped by at Mike's office at HSBC PBCom, then met up with my officemates at McDo Evangelista. That's because my officemates / barkada suddenly decided to hang-out at my place, after they've been sent home due to system breakdown. Well it's my off today, what a luck! I ordered at Monster's Pizza and bought some chips.

We had a dvd movie marathon - among the list were my fave: Glass House, & The Prince and Me.

They went home by 7am... whew! T'was a blast!

After lunch, I went to "Tony and Jackey" to have my hair done - rebond and cut. Went with my cuz Lanie. Then we went to Globe hub to pay my bill.

Movie Time

Watched "Enteng Kabisote 3" at Greenbelt-3 with Mike and RJ. Pig'd out on Pringles-pizza and Cadburry's Time Out, with all time fave drink -- Chimara ice tea.

Comment on the movie: it sucks, the previous sequels better than this third part. It's obvious they made this movie just for commercial profit.

Breakfast in Heaven!

After shift, we decided to have our breakfast at "Heaven n' Eggs", with Julz, Jho, Mona, Rick, Nice, Zen, Virna, Divine, and Jaime.

Merry Christmas!

Went with Mike and RJ to Powerplant Mall and found a red shirt from Guess which I bought. Bought some krinkles from Blue Kitchen for some of my team managers. Before heading home, we ate at McDo and bought RJ a High School musical lunch bag. Also bought some gift cards at Wrap Shop.

This is it! Gift giving day at work! Jho fetched me and helped me bring bags of gifts.

They all liked the presents I gave them, which I really appreciated.

I received a pair of Havaianas flip flops from Jho... thanks Jho!

VCD's and Soup

Jo and Jogie dropped by my place by 9:30 in the evening to pick up some of my vcd's. I also prepared a bowl of soup they could take home (do i still need to say I was not the one who cooked?)

Purple Day

Got an invitation from Gie for her son Khalil Gabriel's 1st birthday at Jollibee SM City annex. Only the four of us made it: Rick, Virna, Julz, and I. It was a surprise when we noticed that we are all wearing purple shirts, and almost all the other guests at the party were also wearing the same color. We even noticed some of them staring at us. Maybe they were thinking we really made an effort. We can't help but laugh!

Afterwards, we accompanied Julz to look for a gift for Jho, a mini-skirt from F&H. Then, we went straight to work; and what a real conincidence, there were a lot of agents wearing purple on the floor. Haha, a purple day indeed!

Christmas Gift Hunting - Day 2

Second day of gift hunting! Next destination: power plant Mall. Took some time to decide what gifts to get, well, I have restrained budget. The result: I was able to find the best gift I'm looking for. Ate our snack at Sugarhouse, had our favorite dish - chicken sliders and beef stroganoff. Yummy.

Christmas Gift Hunting - Day 1

Went to Greenhills early morning with Mike to shop for Christmas gifts. I didn't expect it would be that exhausting to look for thre right gift, since my plan was to personalize each that would suit the recepients personality. I felt really satisfied though, when I was able to find practical yet presentable stuff. It was a tiring day yet rewarding.

Had lunch at Sorabol - a Korean barbeque, we didn't expect they give large servings. Checked out National Bookstore for some more items, and I bought some books for Rick and Trish.

Virna's Invitation

Virna invited the group to her nephew's birthday party. The plan to meet up at Jho's place after shift didn't work out. I was the only one who made it, and i decided to call it a day by 1:20 pm.

Went home and had Mike order at Kenny's for our late lunch. Hope Virna would understand. Though she acted quite different at work. I can't blame her though since she's upset. Hope things will soon be okay.

Delayed 13th Month Pay

Our supossed plan to see Rep's "Sound of Music" with my officemates: Rick, Trish, Jaime, Che, and Julz was cancelled because our 13th month's pay was delayed. What a dismay.

Casino Royale: 007

Met up with mike at Power Plant. We had lunch at Oliver's, and saw Casino Royale afterwards. In contrary to most of the reviews, the lead actor fits the role and the movie is, well, fantastic. After loads of coffees and fraps, I finally received my Starbucks 2007 planner!

A Merry Novo Christmas 2006

I met up with my Amber officemates: Che, Jaime, Julz, and Rick at McDo Evangelista by 6:30pm. We watched Trish's Christmas concert: "A Merry Novo Christmas 2006" of Novo Concertante Manila. Afterwhich, we ate at Tapa King, then we went straight to work. He he he... (",)
