Another Movie With A Successful Sequel

misscongeniality2_bigposter

I am glad to know that Miss Congeniality part 2 is as good as the first one, if not even better. I just got home from Glorietta where I watched the movie with Mike. We, along with other audiences almost lost our breath laughing. The comic lines and situations presented by the movie really clicked. Sandra's way of interpreting her character Gracie Hart was really effective. As expected, Ms.Hart still snorts and shows her clumsiness once in a while. The brawls are fantastic, most between Hart and Foreman who was played by Regina King. It's good to see Heather Burns again who plays Miss Rhode Islands who got the Miss United States crown. In this sequel, Miss United States was kidnapped along with the pageant host played by William Shatner. While Hart was given a new task which was to promote FBI by becoming a glamorous role model promoting on television shows and attending press conferences. While Hart came accross a decision between staying within the comfort of being a national celebrity, and following her call of duty as an FBI agent.

The movie was directed by John Pasquin, and produced by Sandra Bullock. Some of the cast are Regina King, Enrique Murciano Jr, Diedrich Bader, Ernie Hudson, William Shatner, Treat Williams, Elisabeth Rohm, Lusia Strus, Nick Offerman, Abraham Benrubi, Heather Burns, Leslie Erin Grossman, William O'Leary, and John DiResta.

I will give this movie 5 out of 5 popcorn buckets. Superb!
